Our Project

Motherhood changes things. Our time, our relationships, our sense of ourselves - and sometimes the opportunities we have to talk about any of it.

RICAMI Forum is a space for mothers to meet, make and explore those experiences together. Through conversation and simple textile activities, we’ll build a community shaped by the women who join.

What happens at
a session?

There will be fabric, thread and ideas to get us started, alongside time to talk and get to know one another. Conversations might explore identity, care, belonging, expectations or the things we wish people spoke about more openly. You can stitch while you talk, listen while you make, or take a break. No embroidery experience is needed, and there’s no pressure to share anything personal. Together, we’ll decide which themes to explore and what we’d like to create. Our conversations might become a collective banner or another shared artwork, but its form and purpose will grow from the group.
